Senior Director of Construction – General Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise all stages of residential renovations and new construction across a geographically varied portfolio.

• Act as a reliable partner to executive leadership, providing strategic guidance.

• Stay involved in field operations and daily execution.

• Direct project planning and contractor supervision.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration.

• Ensure that work is in alignment with the organization's vision, operational objectives, and long-term asset strategy.

• Oversee high-end residential projects, property portfolios, budgets, forecasts, contracts, vendors, and stakeholders.

• Travel throughout the United States as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of progressive experience in construction, real estate development, or related sectors.

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, real estate, architecture, or a comparable field.

• Extensive practical field experience with a comprehensive understanding of construction methods and practices.

• Proven track record in managing high-end residential projects, including renovations and new builds.

• Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.

• Experience in managing property portfolios with an awareness of long-term operational implications.

• Strong financial insight, covering budgeting, forecasting, and contract management.

• Proficient with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, Matterport, or similar software platforms.

• Strategic leadership skills with a fiduciary mindset and solid decision-making ability.

• Expertise in contract negotiation and vendor management across diverse markets.

• Capability to foresee challenges, resolve conflicts, and guide teams through intricate projects.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to clarify complex issues for varied audiences.

• High level of organizational awareness and the ability to navigate complex, multi-layered environments.
