This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete execution of provider contracting in targeted expansion markets, ensuring that agreements are finalized punctually, meet yield targets, and comply with operational standards.
• Act as the functional domain authority for contracting strategy and execution, while leading a team dedicated to managing deals for both Commercial and Medicare Advantage products.
• Conduct complex, direct negotiations with physician groups, specialty networks, and ancillary providers, with a strong emphasis on commercial fee schedules, rates, and risk structures.
• Work closely with Provider Operations, Claims, and Credentialing to ensure that negotiated contract terms, rates, and value-based parameters are seamlessly integrated into core systems.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of network contracting negotiators, fostering accountability, standardizing negotiation playbooks, and utilizing AI-assisted tools to enhance deal workflows.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Underwriting, Product, and Sales teams to swiftly execute network deals that bolster competitive product pricing and market expansion.
• Over 12 years of direct experience in healthcare network contracting, with a solid foundation and proven success in Commercial managed care environments.
• Extensive experience in successfully closing high-stakes contract negotiations with physician organizations, specialty groups, and ancillary provider networks.
• Profound knowledge of commercial pricing models, fee schedule development, risk-sharing structures, and the operationalization of contracts.
• Proven track record in building, leading, and ensuring accountability across direct-report contracting teams aimed at executing multi-product deals and expediting market readiness.
