This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Accountable for the creation and execution of the Medical Affairs plan and strategies pertaining to Neuromuscular programs.
• Take the lead as the Senior Medical Affairs representative on the Neuromuscular Integrated Product Team (IPT).
• Duties encompass Medical Communications, Patient Advocacy, Field medical strategy, Continuing Medical Education, Health-Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR), and integrated evidence generation.
• Implement the Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement strategy in partnership with clinical operations and clinical development.
• Collaborate with clinical study teams to facilitate recruitment and retention in clinical studies.
• Carry out Medical Affairs activities such as KOL engagement, congress organization, and publication planning.
• Build relationships with thought leaders and advocacy partners.
• Formulate KOL engagement tactics, congress strategies, publication plans, and oversee the publication process.
• Spearhead medical education initiatives aligned with established educational strategies.
• Develop strategies for patient advocacy and manage budgets and timelines for Neuromuscular medical affairs initiatives.
• A Doctorate level or higher degree with 12+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry within Global Medical Affairs and/or Development.
• Alternatively, a Medical Degree (MD) with 8+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in Global Medical Affairs and/or Development.
• Experience in the US, Global, and major EU markets.
• Considerable experience in crafting medical strategies and publication plans during the early stages of the product lifecycle (pipeline medical affairs).
• Extensive experience in planning advisory boards.
• Familiarity with phase I-IV clinical research.
• Strong grasp of drug development and commercialization principles.
• Proven experience in driving transformation within your organization in a cross-functional role.
• Successful track record of product launches.
• Technical expertise covering end-to-end lifecycle management, launch planning, execution, and disease area shaping.
• History of working within large, complex organizations, influencing R&D, and comprehending the global landscape.
• Proficient in presenting innovative ideas, initiatives, and business justifications to C-level executives.
• Proven ability to attract and nurture talent while optimizing team performance.
