This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Formulate and implement global go-to-market strategies that align with PSG’s commercial goals and growth ambitions.
• Oversee commercialization planning for new capabilities, strategic projects, and key growth sectors.
• Create integrated market activation strategies to enhance customer awareness, engagement, and adoption.
• Align marketing investments and campaign strategies with commercial goals to optimize pipeline development.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Commercial Leadership to pinpoint priority customer segments, buying centers, and growth prospects.
• Design and execute integrated demand generation initiatives that produce a qualified commercial pipeline.
• Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns that support strategic account growth, customer acquisition, and market penetration.
• Work closely with Digital Marketing to enhance campaign effectiveness, lead generation, marketing automation, and customer interaction.
• Create value propositions, customer messaging, commercial tools, sales enablement resources, and content for customers.
• Formulate and implement thought leadership strategies and lead participation in industry conferences, executive forums, customer events, and trade associations.
• Foster partnerships across Marketing, Commercial, Business Development, Operations, Technical teams, and Business Units.
• Advocate for Thermo Fisher’s Practical Process Improvement (PPI) Business System.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing global Market Development team.
• Establish KPIs for pipeline, lead conversion, campaign ROI, customer engagement, market penetration, strategic account support, and brand visibility.
• Present business performance and strategic insights to PSG Executive Leadership.
• Assist with the Annual Operating Plan, Strategic Operating Reviews, and long-term commercial planning.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a comparable field is required.
• Over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sectors.
• At least 10 years of experience in a leadership role within a CDMO is required.
• Proven track record in leading global go-to-market, market development, strategic marketing, or commercial marketing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement integrated marketing strategies that enhance pipeline growth and commercial performance.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing, including clinical development, commercial production, regulatory standards, and CDMO business models.
• Experience collaborating with Business Development and Commercial teams to drive growth in complex global markets.
• Proven success in leading cross-functional projects within a highly matrixed organization.
• Strong skills in executive communication, organizational influence, and stakeholder management.
• Preferred expertise in sterile injectables, oral solid dose, biologics, cell and gene therapies, clinical trial services, analytical services, and comprehensive drug development solutions.
• Experience in leading digital demand generation, marketing automation, CRM strategy, and commercial analytics initiatives.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, marketing automation tools, and digital marketing technologies.
• Ability to create strategic clarity and align teams around commercial objectives.
• Capability to drive customer-centric growth through effective go-to-market execution.
• Proficient at influencing without direct authority in a global matrix environment.
• Skilled in developing high-performing teams through coaching, empowerment, and accountability.
