This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee national and regional engagement with medical directors and policy makers in the payer landscape.
• Achieve coverage and appropriate reimbursement while minimizing administrative hurdles with commercial and government payers.
• Interpret payer policies, clinical utility expectations, and cost-effectiveness frameworks for internal stakeholders.
• Create and implement market access strategies that align with commercial objectives and product positioning.
• Provide guidance on reimbursement pathways, payer dynamics, and access risks and opportunities for both pipeline and in-market tests.
• Direct coding, coverage, and payment strategies for contemporary technologies, aiding in business case development and go/no-go decisions.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Clinical teams to identify evidence gaps and formulate evidence-generation strategies.
• Assist in designing clinical studies that meet payer requirements for analytical validity, clinical validity, and clinical utility.
• Work with Revenue Cycle Management to synchronize reimbursement performance with payer policies and enhance revenue capture.
• Partner with Marketing to ensure consistent, payer-oriented value messaging.
• Engage with Government Payer Solutions and Regulatory Affairs to back initiatives aimed at expanding access.
• Develop market access strategies for new test creation, focusing on reimbursement potential and barriers to payer adoption.
• Ensure that market access requirements are integrated into product strategy, pricing, and launch planning.
• Formulate market access strategies that support the product roadmap, pricing, and launch planning.
• Monitor payer policies, clinical guidelines, competitive trends, and emerging evidence.
• Represent Labcorp in engagements with payers, industry forums, and professional organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or Life Sciences.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in market access, reimbursement, or payer strategy within diagnostics, biotech, or healthcare services.
• Specialized knowledge in women’s health, reproductive genetics, or molecular diagnostics.
• Proven track record of securing payer coverage and reimbursement for innovative diagnostics.
• Strong grasp of coding, coverage, and payment pathways for IVDs and LDTs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation abilities.
• Capability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
