This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulating and directing the market access contracting strategy for cytisinicline, ensuring it aligns with the Company's overarching commercial launch strategy and access goals across Medicaid and Commercial payer channels.
• Creating and implementing the contracting strategy for Medicaid channels, ensuring adherence to government pricing regulations and alignment with access objectives.
• Designing and executing the contracting strategy for Commercial payers, which includes negotiation tactics, pricing and rebate frameworks, and opportunities for value-based contracting as appropriate.
• Leading market research efforts to guide the contracting strategy, analyzing the dynamics of the payer landscape, competitive contracting methods, and access challenges to create a data-driven approach for payer negotiations.
• Establishing and managing comprehensive, detailed timelines for payer discussions and contracting activities from pre-approval preparation to post-approval execution, ensuring launch readiness.
• Facilitating engagement with key payers, integrating their feedback and contracting insights into the wider market access and launch strategy.
• Defining and monitoring key performance indicators for contracting results, ensuring accountability to launch schedules and access targets.
• Collaborating with Legal and Compliance to guarantee that all contracting activities comply with regulatory standards, government pricing requirements, and internal policies.
• Recruiting, leading, and developing the contracting teams necessary for launch readiness across both Medicaid and Commercial channels, promoting a high-performing, collaborative culture.
• Partnering with HEOR, Medical Affairs, Legal, and Commercial Operations to ensure the contracting strategy conveys a compelling value proposition and aligns with the broader market access strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in science, business, or a related field; an advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in market access, contracting, or related commercial roles within the biopharmaceutical industry, with a preference for candidates having at least 3 years of experience in oncology, rare disease, or other specialty therapeutic areas, along with expertise in payer contracting, pricing, and reimbursement.
• Comprehensive understanding of the U.S. payer landscape across Medicaid and Commercial channels, including government pricing mandates.
