This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the entire lifecycle marketing process, which includes acquisition nurturing, conversion, activation, engagement, retention, and winback.
• Oversee the strategy for the acquisition lifecycle, focusing on lead capture, prospect nurturing, and conversion pathways.
• Develop and enhance journeys for welcome, education, browse abandonment, cart abandonment, and lead re-engagement.
• Collaborate with Performance Marketing and Growth teams on lead generation strategies.
• Take responsibility for conversion metrics across email, SMS, and push notification channels.
• Lead the strategies for onboarding, engagement, cross-selling, churn prevention, and winback, ensuring accountability for retention, lifetime value (LTV), and reactivation.
• Create a data-informed winback program along with interventions aimed at preventing behavioral churn.
• Direct the cross-sell and expansion strategy across Seed's range of products.
• Guide the strategy and execution of email, SMS, and push notifications, including journey architecture, cadence, targeting, and creative direction.
• Broaden accessible audiences while maintaining trust and deliverability standards.
• Ensure that lifecycle touchpoints are aligned with Seed's science-driven, premium brand image.
• Develop and manage experimentation initiatives using holdouts and incrementality testing.
• Convert behavioral segmentation into tailored journeys and messaging in collaboration with Data and Product teams.
• Establish and report a comprehensive lifecycle measurement framework across the funnel.
• Represent the lifecycle aspect in commercial planning for product launches, promotions, pricing adjustments, and subscription mechanics.
• Collaborate with Digital Product teams on subscription management, upsell opportunities, personalization, and in-app/on-site lifecycle experiences.
• Build a high-performing lifecycle team along with an effective operating rhythm.
• Achieve enhancements in retention and reactivation curves, acquisition conversion, winback revenue, reliable LTV measurement, and foster a more autonomous team.
• 8+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing.
• Significant experience in subscription or direct-to-consumer (DTC) businesses at scale.
• Proven track record in managing both acquisition and retention lifecycle strategies.
• Experience in developing lifecycle programs from foundational principles.
• Proficient in cohort analysis, retention modeling, and incrementality techniques.
• Capability to optimize for business results rather than just engagement metrics.
• Familiarity with lifecycle tools such as Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of data architecture that allows effective collaboration with engineering and data teams.
• High standards in lifecycle marketing quality and brand representation.
• Demonstrated urgency and proactive decision-making when addressing, reframing, or discontinuing underperforming initiatives.
• Ability to formulate, defend, and revise hypotheses grounded in evidence.
• Clear and structured communication skills with executive stakeholders and teams.
