This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the Integrations Cloud vision, multi-year strategy, and business outcomes, focusing on retention, churn reduction, implementation time-to-value, and expansion.
• Convert engineering-dependent integrations into a flexible, extensible, self-service data-connectivity platform.
• Direct the cross-functional integration-fit customer-health initiative and establish a demand-to-roadmap prioritization process.
• Manage the Integration Engineering and Data Client Experience roadmap's timing, scope, delivery, pipeline health, SLAs, capacity allocation, blocker resolution, and technical-debt management.
• Create systems integration architecture across multi-SIS federated, single-SIS multi-tenant, and hybrid models.
• Develop cross-tenant capabilities such as identity management, RBAC, aggregated reporting, workflow hooks, and institutional scope.
• Formulate strategies for reusable integration patterns with major SIS/LMS vendors and maintain key vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with go-to-market teams on technical scoping, RFP defense, and commercial framing.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary team encompassing integration and platform engineering, product ownership, Data Engineering, and Customer Experience.
• Cultivate the next generation of leaders.
• Establish operational cadence and metrics for reliability, SLA compliance, time-to-value, self-service adoption, and retention.
• Utilize AI across the integration platform to enhance discovery, minimize manual tasks, and improve decision-making.
• Within the first year, publish the Integrations Cloud North Star, secure funding, form the integration-fit working group, pilot the AI gap-map, decrease escalations and churn, organize escalated-customer blockers, enhance baseline field coverage, implement self-service extendedFields wiring, deliver cross-tenant identity and associated systems capabilities, and set operating metrics.
• 12+ years of experience in software, with a strong background in integration/data-platform leadership or product-line/GM management.
• Proven leadership capabilities, including experience in leading other leaders.
• Demonstrated success in establishing a multi-year platform vision and translating it into delivered, adopted products.
• Experience in owning or significantly influencing retention and customer-health metrics.
• Background in leading a cross-functional organization or platform/business line and being accountable for outcomes.
• Comfort with managing numbers and a P&L-level charter.
• In-depth knowledge of data models, integration patterns, and SIS-level specifics.
• Significant experience in constructing or scaling a data-connectivity or integration platform.
• Comprehensive understanding of SIS/LMS ecosystems, including systems like Banner, Colleague, PeopleSoft, and Workday.
• Familiarity with Ethos/APIs, batch processing, and custom controllers.
• Expertise in extensible and multi-tenant data modeling and data sovereignty issues.
• Ability to link platform decisions to retention, growth, and time-to-value metrics.
• Experience steering cross-functional initiatives that impact sales, scoping, and implementation.
• Strong operational discipline regarding SLAs, blocker resolution, capacity management, and technical debt oversight.
• Experience in guiding through documented strategies and making direct decisions.
• Experience in mentoring managers and product owners.
• Familiarity with evaluating and integrating AI tools into platform workflows and product features.
• Ability to identify AI applications that minimize manual work while maintaining quality and control.
• Experience in higher-education technology is highly preferred.
