This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and drive a comprehensive multi-year IT roadmap to support Whistle’s growth, operational model, and business priorities across Operations, Finance, HR, Real Estate, M&A, and other functions.
• Develop IT policies, standards, and controls for both cloud-based and on-premises environments.
• Spearhead role-based access design, conduct access reviews, implement deactivation controls, and oversee compliance processes.
• Modernize platforms, enhance integrations, automate manual tasks, and streamline technology utilization.
• Guide change management efforts and facilitate stakeholder communication regarding technology initiatives.
• Supervise network infrastructure, help desk support, escalation procedures, and service level agreements.
• Collaborate with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to set up, initiate, and oversee security training campaigns.
• Work with company leaders to assess needs, prioritize projects, and ensure the successful adoption of technology solutions.
• Administer the annual IT budget, which includes applications, hardware, SaaS tools, MSP services, software licensing, and capital investments.
• Lead the selection of IT vendors, negotiate contracts, govern Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and manage ongoing performance.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is required.
• Relevant certifications in IT governance, infrastructure, security, or cloud platforms are preferred.
• Over 12 years of progressive IT experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership position.
• Practical experience with network architecture, security, Microsoft 365, Azure or other cloud platforms, systems integration, and enterprise application support.
• Background in supporting a multi-site, high-growth retail, service, or field operations setting is preferred.
• Capacity to convey technical concepts into straightforward business recommendations for both executive and non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale IT programs from strategy to execution, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong judgment, composed leadership, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
