Senior Director – Hydrogeology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Engage in a diverse range of challenging technical projects.

• Collaborate and mentor alongside seasoned professionals.

• Expand the site investigation and remediation practice through client engagement and business development initiatives.

• Manage projects by planning and executing investigation and remediation efforts, overseeing budgets, adhering to project timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.

• Design, execute, and analyze hydrogeological field test outcomes.

• Develop and calibrate groundwater models to evaluate groundwater migration and related issues.

• Oversee fieldwork activities, including site inspections, multi-media environmental sampling and characterization, drilling supervision, and contractor management.

• Draft technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in geology, earth sciences, environmental engineering, or a related area of study (required).

• A minimum of 15 years of direct experience in environmental consulting, or a comparable mix of education and experience (required).

• Proven history of successful project delivery in the site investigation and remediation field (required).

• Experience in directing and managing comprehensive project delivery, including planning, financial oversight, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management (required).

• Capability to thrive in a dynamic consulting environment, managing multiple project assignments and adhering to tight deadlines (required).

• Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and recertifications (preferred).

• A valid UK driver’s license and an acceptable driving record for business-related travel (required).
