Senior Director, Human Resources

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take the lead in promoting people initiatives, encompassing workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, leader development, succession planning, and learning and development.

• Evaluate DF&H's infrastructure and enhance HR practices and programs to foster growth.

• Act as a business partner to DF&H leaders, offering honest insights and feedback on business decisions.

• Provide expert guidance to business leaders on matters related to personnel.

• Assess organizational structure and propose enhancements.

• Strategize, develop, and execute DF&H's human resources goals and objectives.

• Supervise the formulation and application of HR policies, guidelines, and procedures.

• Manage compensation programs and reward practices in collaboration with Corporate HR.

• Ensure effective recruitment and talent acquisition plans for new roles.

• Assist with interviewing, liaising with external recruiting firms, negotiating compensation, and making hiring decisions.

• Offer HR support for DF&H's merger and acquisition initiatives.

• Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of human resource experience in relevant sectors, ideally within manufacturing.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• Experience managing HR functions across various geographic or international locations.

• Willingness to undertake considerable business travel.

• Proven experience collaborating with a leadership team to instigate sustainable change in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

• Experience in developing and executing talent planning processes that align with a targeted growth strategy.

• An entrepreneurial mindset and spirit cultivated in a rapidly growing organization.

• Demonstrated success in delivering customer-centric HR services, including recruiting, compensation and benefits, organizational development, performance management, and compliance with employment law.

• Substantial experience or knowledge in developing and implementing training for staff and management, along with organizational development activities.

• Extensive understanding of HR trends and practices.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Excellent organizational competencies.

• Proficient in computer skills with a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
