
Senior Director, Global Partner Strategy – Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Develop and enhance the annual global partner strategy and programs to align with Genesys' growth goals and market entry priorities.
• Create and expand global partner programs that generate partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue.
• Convert strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps with defined success metrics.
• Optimize partner coverage models, motions, and ecosystem interactions.
• Manage annual partner tiering, segmentation, KPIs, compliance requirements, and business planning.
• Assess partner performance against established plans and implement corrective measures as necessary.
• Design and administer global partner incentives, rebate frameworks, SPIFFs, performance rewards, and deal-registration incentives.
• Act as the primary contact for escalations related to partner programs and strategies.
• Provide counsel to senior and executive leaders on partner strategies, incentives, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across Sales, Partner Marketing, Revenue Intelligence, Services, Finance, IT, and Operations.
• Define KPIs, establish governance forums, and leverage data-driven insights to enhance partner productivity.
• Lead and cultivate the global virtual partner support center and specialist teams located in Manila.
• Streamline support processes and implement AI-driven efficiencies.
• Oversee the Genesys partner portal, partner pages, digital experiences, and partner technology stack.
• Supervise partner impact assessments through the One Genesys Framework.
• Establish and manage external Partner Advisory Boards.
• Create partner program guidelines, rules of engagement, and go-to-market resources in collaboration with Sales Enablement.
• Lead and nurture a high-performing global partner team, both directly and through matrix relationships.
• Build organizational capabilities while promoting ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Over 15 years of senior leadership experience in global partnerships, alliances, or ecosystems within a complex enterprise technology environment.
• Experience working at a company with a well-established partner ecosystem.
• In-depth knowledge of partner organization structures, partner leadership, sales-manager workflows, and field challenges.
• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing global partner programs that drive growth and scalability.
• Marketplace/co-sell experience with AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with partner tools such as Partner Stack.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across various functions and regions.
• High tolerance for ambiguity with the capacity to make decisive actions outside established norms.
• Confidence in navigating unstructured environments while balancing nuance and urgency.
• Quick learner amid shifting technology, market, and organizational priorities.
• Experience in leading large, globally distributed teams.
• Strong understanding of global go-to-market models, partner ecosystems, and enterprise SaaS sales processes.
• Extensive experience within highly matrixed global organizations.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and executive-presence skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, including enterprise CRM workflows, personas, and access models.
• Capacity to build and develop high-performing teams across multiple workstreams through complexity and change.
• Proven track record of facilitating the career growth of direct reports.
• Experience in independently presenting to senior and C-level leadership while integrating feedback.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in leveraging data for decision-making and performance optimization.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, project planning software, or equivalent tools.
• Willingness to work outside standard business hours.
• Availability to travel twice a year to Manila, Philippines, and four times a year to other locations.
