This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Direct the Global Accounting & Close (GAC) organization
• Manage global monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, local accounting regulations, statutory filing obligations, and corporate policies
• Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing close efficiency, transparency, scalability, and control effectiveness
• Supervise statutory financial reporting across various jurisdictions and oversee the preparation, review, and submission of statutory financial statements and regulatory filings
• Establish global accounting standards, governance frameworks, and operational practices
• Cultivate relationships with external auditors, regulators, and professional advisors
• Evaluate new accounting standards, regulations, and business developments
• Oversee accounting functions for SPVs, joint ventures, and intricate legal entity structures
• Collaborate with the Assistant Corporate Controller on statutory, consolidated, technical, and enterprise accounting issues
• Create a multi-year roadmap for accounting transformation
• Spearhead the implementation of AI, automation, digital solutions, advanced reporting, analytics, and dashboards
• Standardize processes, enhance data quality, and fortify reporting controls
• Construct business cases and ROI analyses for technology, automation, and process enhancements
• Provide variance analysis and financial insights to support executive decision-making and external reporting
• Counsel Finance leadership on accounting operations, transformation initiatives, and reporting strategies
• Influence enterprise-wide finance technology, operating model, and process optimization choices
• Lead a global organization through subordinate managers
• Foster talent development, succession planning, and leadership coaching
• Manage change initiatives for new technologies, operating models, and process transformations
• Oversee global accounting budgets, resource planning, and organizational investments
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in accounting, controllership, financial reporting, or related finance roles
• Proven experience in leading large-scale accounting transformation, reporting modernization, or process improvement initiatives
• Experience in a multinational, publicly traded, or matrixed organization
• Familiarity with enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar systems
• Experience in leading large, globally dispersed teams and managing complex accounting operations
