This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the accounting, valuation, costing, and financial management of inventory across various business divisions and warehouse sites.
• Take responsibility for inventory accounting and financial reporting across multiple divisions and locations.
• Ensure precise inventory valuation through standard cost, average cost, and other suitable methodologies.
• Manage cost rolls, updates to standard costs, cost adjustments, and inventory revaluations.
• Analyze variances in purchase prices, manufacturing costs, and discrepancies in inventory.
• Confirm that inventory subledgers are reconciled with the general ledger.
• Collaborate with warehouse and manufacturing managers on physical inventories, cycle counts, inventory movement, and ensuring accuracy.
• Work alongside Controllers to guarantee precise financial reporting at month-end and year-end.
• Lead and assist in physical inventory counts and inventory audit procedures.
• Develop and enhance inventory controls, policies, and costing methodologies.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules for inventory reporting.
• Assist external auditors by providing inventory-related documentation for audits.
• Suggest improvements for processes within ERP systems and inventory workflows.
• Be prepared to travel domestically and internationally as required, up to 25%, to support warehouse operations, inventory audits, ERP implementations, and finance initiatives.
• Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and collaborate with executive leadership.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, up to 25%.
• Familiarity with inventory accounting, valuation, costing, and financial management.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience collaborating with Operations, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Controllers, and Finance teams.
• Proficiency in working with standard cost, average cost, cost rolls, updates to standard costs, cost adjustments, and inventory revaluations.
• Ability to analyze purchase price variances, manufacturing variances, and inventory discrepancies.
• Skill in reconciling inventory subledgers with the general ledger.
• Capability to support physical inventories, cycle counts, inventory movement, inventory audits, and external auditors.
• Proficient in developing and enhancing inventory controls, policies, and costing procedures.
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and inventory reporting schedules.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory workflows.
• Fully remote work — ability to work from any location in the U.S.
• Minimal travel, up to 25%, to visit warehouse locations, support audits, and engage with operations teams in person.
• Direct communication with the CFO and a meaningful position on the Finance leadership team.
