Senior Director – FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the daily financial operations

• Inspire and lead a high-achieving finance team

• Handle forecasting, P&L management, weekly and monthly reporting, and analysis

• Identify and assess risks and opportunities

• Create, consolidate, and deliver financial analyses

• Collaborate with the VP of Finance to ensure alignment on strategic objectives

• Analyze business trends and provide decision-making support

• Report on financial outcomes and key performance indicators

• Generate ad-hoc reports as necessary

• Develop and sustain long-term forecasting models

• Assist with and analyze financial requests

• Drive process enhancements for PSA tools and ERP integration

• Design and establish a comprehensive revenue reconciliation process

• Revamp the invoicing procedure

• Guide the annual budgeting process

• Aid in resource management assessments

• Discover, pilot, and integrate AI tools and automation within the finance function.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration—or equivalent experience

• 15+ years of relevant experience

• In-depth knowledge of financial statements and core accounting principles

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Skilled in advanced data tools; SQL and PowerBI

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting abilities; experience with post-acquisition integration and professional services business models is advantageous

• CPA or CFA designation preferred

• Extensive experience in financial reporting and analysis

• Familiarity with Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools (e.g., Certinia, Kantata, or similar) and ERP integrations

• Proven ability to utilize AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or finance-specific AI platforms) to automate or improve financial processes.
