This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversees the creation and execution of sophisticated modeling techniques aimed at optimizing financial strategies, ensuring that these modeling efforts facilitate profitable revenue growth.
• Directs technical evaluations of market intelligence, predictive modeling, and pricing assumptions, while establishing analytical philosophies that are in line with financial goals and track progress towards objectives.
• Modifies financial strategies in response to performance metrics and shifting market demands.
• Utilizes knowledge of critical business drivers and performance-enhancing factors to offer insights for annual financial planning, which includes rate activity, in-force policies, revenue growth, loss trends, and other essential elements.
• Manages financial projections and scenario analyses to aid in strategic planning and risk evaluation, employing predictive analytics to produce precise forecasts that align with business aims.
• Designs and implements customer behavior segmentation and targeting strategies through predictive modeling, influencing marketing decisions to optimize customer selection and revenue generation.
• Informs product development by utilizing advanced modeling and actuarial analysis to support product innovation, market alignment, and potential for revenue growth.
• Establishes data-driven strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty.
• Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and encourage long-term engagement.
• Evaluates performance metrics for direct marketing and media expenditures while providing insights that balance profitability, customer engagement, and competitive positioning.
• Cultivates team capabilities in data analytics, predictive modeling, and actuarial analysis to foster continuous improvement.
• A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in a similar role is required.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferable.
• Must have insurance and pricing experience.
• **Technical & Business Skills**
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, and Data Visualization Tools.
• Capable of predictive analysis, modeling, and exhibiting strong analytical skills.
• Hands-on approach with a proactive and innovation-driven mindset.
• Ability to lead in uncertain situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with effective listening abilities.
• Capable of translating technical information for a non-technical audience.
• Strong technical aptitude is essential.
• Knowledge of AI, automation, LLMs, Copilot, and Claude is a plus.
• **A fellowship designation from a recognized actuarial organization, such as FCAS or an equivalent local credential, is required.**
