This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Drive the strategic vision, development, and operational implementation of the FRM organization in support of saroglitazar and upcoming rare/specialty disease initiatives.
• Create and manage a contract FRM organization, encompassing organizational structure, recruitment strategy, onboarding, training, and field deployment.
• Design and execute essential operational infrastructure for the FRM team, including incentive compensation plans, field metrics, territory alignment, SOPs, and workflows.
• Foster a high-performance culture centered on collaboration, accountability, compliance, and patient-focused execution.
• Mentor and develop FRMs to effectively assist provider offices in overcoming access and reimbursement challenges.
• Direct FRM strategy to support healthcare providers and office staff managing patients under the pharmacy benefit.
• Supervise compliant education regarding prior authorization requirements, appeals processes, formulary access, specialty pharmacy routing, and patient support program navigation.
• Create tools, resources, and field guidance that simplify intricate payer and specialty pharmacy processes for provider offices.
• Act as a strategic partner in patient support and patient services initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with Patient Services leaders, hub vendors, and specialty pharmacy account teams.
• Provide field-based insights regarding provider office requirements, operational obstacles, and patient access issues.
• Identify unmet educational and operational needs within provider offices.
• Offer strategic feedback on reimbursement and access-related messaging.
• Present regular business updates, field insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, MPH, or equivalent) preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in reimbursement, patient access, market access, or related pharmaceutical/biotech areas.
• More than 5 years of leadership experience managing FRM, reimbursement, or patient access field teams, with experience in managing a contract FRM partner.
• Strong expertise in supporting products covered under the pharmacy benefit.
• In-depth understanding of commercial and government payer frameworks.
• Knowledge of prior authorization and appeals processes.
• Familiarity with specialty pharmacy distribution and operations.
• Expertise in provider office reimbursement workflows.
• Proven success in building and scaling field access organizations within biotech or specialty pharmaceutical contexts.
• Experience in developing field operating models, incentive compensation frameworks, and business processes for field teams.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Experience in rare disease, specialty, or orphan product environments.
• Launch experience in emerging or growth-stage biotech companies.
• Close partnership experience with hub service providers and specialty pharmacies.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, field analytics, and reimbursement technology solutions.
