This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and realize the vision for field reporting and ad hoc business analytics at Otsuka.
• Create roadmaps for future-oriented capabilities that align with advancing data and technology trends.
• Deliver ongoing, actionable, data-driven insights to Field Leadership that align with organizational goals.
• Conduct in-depth business performance analytics in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Determine key positive and negative factors influencing geography-level performance across therapeutic areas.
• Build and implement analytical processes and capabilities to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Work alongside Forecasting, Brand Analytics, and Promotional Analytics/Planning teams.
• Enhance Otsuka’s Customer Facing Analytics & Reporting capability, which includes reporting UI/UX, gathering requirements, analyzing utilization and usage, and rationalizing reports.
• Oversee, mentor, and guide a diverse analytics team while managing external vendors.
• Shape commercial leadership strategies by providing executive leadership with strategic insights on field performance.
• Over 10 years of experience across various commercial functions within the biopharmaceutical sector.
• More than 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities across diverse functions and organizational levels.
• Strong organizational capabilities and the ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects concurrently.
• Intellectual curiosity and analytical expertise to comprehend, influence, and take ownership of team-generated analytical solutions.
• A proven track record in analytics is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical business stakeholders and persuade them to invest in Ipsen’s data ecosystem.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse team.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A Master’s or PhD is preferred.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and data stewardship principles is essential.
• Strong analytical capabilities, knowledge of quantitative methods, and proficiency in analytical techniques are necessary.
• Experience in field leadership and commercial operations in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Capability to work amidst ambiguity and adapt creatively to changing business requirements.
