πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Provide strategic leadership for MGT's comprehensive employee relations and employment compliance initiatives.

β€’ Report directly to the SVP of HR Services.

β€’ Act as a senior resource for employee relations, workplace investigations, and employment compliance matters.

β€’ Direct MGT's overarching employee relations strategy and operational framework.

β€’ Offer guidance and serve as an escalation point for intricate and sensitive employee issues, investigations, workplace concerns, accommodations, performance management challenges, and employment decisions.

β€’ Collaborate with organizational leaders to tackle workforce challenges and enhance leadership effectiveness.

β€’ Assess employee relations trends and deliver actionable insights and recommendations.

β€’ Foster consistent, equitable, and values-driven decision-making.

β€’ Supervise enterprise workplace investigations and set standards, protocols, and governance processes.

β€’ Lead the creation and evolution of workplace policies, employee conduct standards, and employee relations practices.

β€’ Provide strategic oversight for employment compliance across a geographically diverse, multi-state workforce.

β€’ Convert legal and regulatory requirements into practical, scalable business processes and HR practices.

β€’ Develop governance frameworks, controls, monitoring processes, documentation standards, and remediation strategies.

β€’ Coordinate compliance reviews, assessments, audits, and corrective action initiatives.

β€’ Collaborate with Legal, Internal Audit, and executive leadership to identify and mitigate organizational risks.

β€’ Establish metrics and reporting for compliance trends, risks, remediation efforts, and program effectiveness.

β€’ Lead and cultivate the Employee Relations and Compliance team.

β€’ Set team direction, priorities, service expectations, and development opportunities.

β€’ Coach leaders and enhance managerial effectiveness.

β€’ Support succession planning and capability enhancement.

β€’ Develop tools, resources, and training for scalable enterprise support.

β€’ Oversee employee relations and compliance initiatives for acquisitions, integrations, organizational redesigns, and workforce transitions.

β€’ Create repeatable frameworks and playbooks that support growth and scalability.

β€’ Align employee relations and compliance strategies with business objectives to support enterprise transformation initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A bachelor's degree is required.

β€’ An advanced degree in Human Resources, Employment Law, Business Administration, JD, or a related field is preferred.

β€’ A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Employee Relations, Employment Compliance, Labor Relations, Employment Law, Human Resources, or related areas.

β€’ Proven success in leading enterprise employee relations and compliance functions within large, complex, and rapidly changing organizations.

β€’ Extensive experience managing workplace investigations and advising on high-risk employee issues.

β€’ Profound knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulatory requirements.

β€’ Demonstrated ability to influence executive leaders and drive organizational outcomes through trusted partnerships and sound judgment.

β€’ Proven experience in leading and developing Employee Relations, Compliance, or related HR professionals.

β€’ Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

β€’ Strong business acumen balancing employee experience, compliance needs, and organizational goals.

β€’ Experience in guiding teams through growth, change, acquisitions, and organizational transformation.

β€’ Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and make informed decisions in complex situations.

β€’ Demonstrated success in building scalable programs, processes, and governance frameworks that facilitate long-term growth.
