Senior Director, ECD Product Strategy – Lifecycle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Early Cancer Detection portfolio.

• Direct the annual and multi-year strategic planning for ECD products.

• Identify, evaluate, and categorize new market opportunities through analysis.

• Establish clear value propositions and strategies for differentiation.

• Manage products throughout their entire lifecycle.

• Facilitate the definition of product requirements, success metrics, and readiness for launch.

• Guide decisions involving trade-offs among performance, features, timelines, and investments.

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative customer research with clinicians, health systems, payers, and partners.

• Convert insights into definitive product requirements and roadmap choices.

• Keep an eye on the competitive landscape and emerging technologies.

• Create and oversee comprehensive business cases including revenue forecasts and NPV analyses.

• Challenge assumptions and provide data-driven recommendations for investments.

• Collaborate with finance and commercial leadership to ensure alignment of product strategy with financial goals.

• Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers dedicated to innovation and lifecycle initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree (PhD, MD, or MBA) is highly preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in product management, product strategy, consulting, or related fields within diagnostics, biotechnology, medical devices, or health technology.

• Previous experience with early cancer detection products is strongly preferred.

• Proven track record in managing products throughout their lifecycle, including successful product launches.

• Established people leadership experience, encompassing hiring, coaching, and developing product managers.

• Experience in developing regulated clinical products and close collaboration with clinical trials and regulatory pathways.
