Senior Director, Digital Strategy – Digital & Insights

📋 Description

• Collaborate with client teams and oversee projects; provide guidance on the execution of digital intelligence, measurement, media analytics, and reputation strategies driven by data.

• Partner closely with FTI’s data science teams to facilitate the operational implementation of innovative solutions, such as media simulations, agentic personas, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics methods, while delivering these capabilities to both internal stakeholders and external clients in a commercially viable and strategically relevant manner.

• Assist in translating intricate data science methodologies and results into actionable insights and strategic advice for internal teams and clients.

• Act as a liaison within corporate reputation teams to grasp the comprehensive range of research, analytics, and digital intelligence services, and pinpoint opportunities for their integration into client strategies.

• Discover new avenues to expand the digital and insights business internally within the Strategic Communications division, across other FTI segments, and externally.

• Utilize consumer, stakeholder, and media intelligence platforms to extract insights regarding client campaigns, reputational challenges, and broader audience dynamics, shaping strategy accordingly.

• Conduct and analyze digital intelligence, audience, media, and search audits to identify communication gaps, reputational threats, and competitive standing.

• Monitor and report on digital, media, and search performance using tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Brandwatch, Meltwater, or similar platforms, and convert findings into actionable strategies.

• Determine optimal methods for clients to communicate across digital and earned media landscapes, emphasizing audiences, channels, content, and additional factors through data and analytics interpretation.

• Assess audience engagement with client communications by leveraging primary research, media analytics, AI-driven tools, and emerging technologies.

• Provide mentorship and coaching to early career professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic communications, corporate reputation, digital intelligence, insights, analytics, research, or related sectors.

• Experience in both client advisory roles and data- or analytics-focused environments.

• Proficient understanding of primary research methodologies, media analytics, audience intelligence, and data science approaches to communications and reputation management.

• Familiarity with social listening and media intelligence platforms like Brandwatch and Meltwater.

• Knowledge of SEO, search strategy, AI-enhanced search, AEO/GEO, and emerging digital discovery trends.

• Capability to distill complex datasets and analytics into clear, actionable communication recommendations for clients and senior stakeholders.

• Applicants must possess current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the employer will not sponsor any visa applications.
