📋 Description

• Spearhead the digital transformation initiatives for the Web and eCommerce teams by managing the technical roadmap, ensuring architectural consistency, and supervising the delivery of all customer-facing platforms and experiences.

• Enhance performance, scalability, integrations, and the continuous advancement of our digital ecosystem.

• Provide leadership from the Digital Strategy, eCommerce, and Technology perspectives, aiming to develop and implement Lovesac’s eCommerce roadmap by incorporating NEW customer-facing platforms and experiences (web, mobile, app, portals).

• Possess a strong capability to convert business and brand objectives into precise technical requirements and user stories that enhance eCommerce metrics (awareness, engagement, and conversion).

• Act as a problem solver, delivering strategic, scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

• Oversee platform integrations across CRM, new product and app launches, marketplaces, platforms, and data platforms.

• Propel business strategy by creating a connected, end-to-end, and omni-channel experience.

• Advocate for the use of AI and automation to amplify insights, lessen manual efforts, and speed up decision-making.

• Collaborate to continually enhance platform performance, uptime, page speed, and stability.

• Manage and advance feature developments and platform/app modernization to consistently improve Lovesac’s Customer Decision Journey (CDJ).

• Maintain a robust understanding of eCommerce reporting metrics, identifying key levers to drive revenue, engagement, and conversion for Lovesac’s digital channels.

• Ensure compliance and cooperation between eCommerce, Brand, Creative, and Tech teams.

• Collaborate to guarantee all platforms are aligned with release planning, user testing, and production deployment readiness.

• Assess and manage third-party vendors/agencies and technology partners based on business needs.

• Guide platform optimization and investment decisions through data and analytics.

• Ensure accurate tagging, tracking, and analytics implementation across all new and existing web experiences and channels.

• Exhibit strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage a P&L and a select group of vendors.

• Perform any additional reasonable duties as assigned by management.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing and leading eCommerce platforms, including experience in full-price/off-price channels, app development and integration, and overall strategic transformation within the digital landscape.

• At least 5 years of experience owning strategy and execution in a digital environment for a large enterprise, particularly in retail.

• Proven experience collaborating closely with commercial, marketing, and tech teams.

• Demonstrated leadership and understanding in navigating eCommerce platforms, Order Management Systems, PIM, Payment gateways, ERP integration, Supply chain systems, and CRM platforms.

• Strong familiarity with how eCommerce platforms, SI, APIs, integrations, and system architecture (Cloud-native architecture, Microservices design, API-driven systems, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Headless commerce, AWS, etc.) function cohesively.

• Ability to balance business requirements with technical limitations within marketing guidelines.

• Proactive leader passionate about exploring and championing emerging digital technologies (e.g., AI, LLMs) to further digital transformation efforts.

• Proven ability to prioritize and deliver impactful work within limited resources.

• A collaborative leader capable of strategic thinking while remaining hands-on and focused on execution.

• Exemplify all Lovesac values at all times, driven by results, and use knowledge to meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), goals, and deadlines.

• Must be able to travel using various forms of transportation, as required by the Company at its discretion, for mandatory meetings and conferences held either at our offices or offsite (e.g., quarterly team connection weeks, companywide meetings and events, vendor visits).
