This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the Data Architecture function and take ownership of the scalable, flexible, enterprise-agnostic data model that supports the enterprise medallion architecture.
• Define architectural direction, establish standards, and create reference models for Data Engineering and Analysis teams.
• Guide the strategy for data ingestion, structuring, and layering in collaboration with IT and Data Engineering.
• Manage the comprehensive solution architecture that connects data and digital product capabilities to centralized medallion architecture models.
• Develop reusable, scalable solution blueprints and reference patterns.
• Convert architectural intentions into practical, production-ready solution designs.
• Implement AI and automation in modeling and solution processes to decrease modeling cycle time.
• Transition custom solutions to centralized, agnostic Silver-layer sources.
• Create repeatable patterns and accelerators for production-ready assets.
• Integrate data and digital product solutions onto shared, reusable sources.
• Collaborate with Digital Product and Analytics teams to incorporate AI and automation into product workflows.
• Ensure that solutions are adaptable for various use cases.
• Centralize AI-assisted modeling patterns, templates, and reusable components.
• Set standards for data architecture, solution design, AI, and automation.
• Empower Data Engineering and Analysis teams to adopt architectural patterns and automation accelerators.
• Extensive senior leadership experience in data architecture, solution architecture, data modeling, data/analytics solution delivery, automation, or applied AI within an enterprise data environment.
• Proven experience in leading a data architecture function and designing scalable, enterprise-agnostic data models.
• Demonstrated ability in designing and industrializing custom or prototype solutions into reusable, production-ready assets.
• In-depth knowledge of medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold), reusable modeling, and enterprise-agnostic data design.
• Practical understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated code evaluation, and controlled promotion to production.
• Established capability to apply AI and automation to enhance modeling, integration, and solutioning while maintaining quality and governance.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and change leadership skills.
• Experience in complex, regulated enterprises is preferred.
• Reliable home internet connection through a cable broadband or fiber optic service provider, with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload, when working from home.
