📋 Description

• Define and steer the vision, growth strategy, and multi-year roadmap of the Data & Analytics Practice.

• Facilitate the transition from traditional data warehousing to modern data platforms, including lakehouse, real-time, and domain-oriented architectures.

• Create AI-enabled data ecosystems tailored for production-grade analytics and AI workloads.

• Develop AI-driven data products that provide governed, reusable, and business-aligned data assets at scale.

• Establish standards and best practices encompassing data engineering, modeling, architecture, governance, quality, and lifecycle management.

• Influence how the Practice distinguishes itself in the market through its offerings, accelerators, and delivery models.

• Serve as the executive voice of the Practice internally, impacting investment decisions, headcount strategies, and strategic priorities.

• Oversee key client engagements, ensuring strong architecture, scalability, and alignment with client business outcomes.

• Maintain consistency in delivery approach, data product thinking, and engineering quality.

• Build and scale reusable delivery accelerators, including ingestion frameworks for batch, real-time, and event-driven pipelines.

• Develop data quality and observability toolkits.

• Create reusable data products such as curated datasets, semantic models, and feature-ready datasets.

• Standardize data models and transformation pipelines.

• Promote the adoption of data-as-a-product principles across client engagements, ensuring clear ownership, SLAs, and lifecycle management.

• Enhance discoverability through catalogs and semantic layers aligned with client business domains.

• Boost delivery velocity through standardization, reuse, and AI-assisted data engineering practices and AI-enabled accelerators.

• Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for complex client scenarios.

• Foster the integration of AI throughout the data lifecycle in client engagements, including data discovery, profiling, and quality automation.

• Manage metadata and evolve semantic layers.

• Implement intelligent pipelines and data observability.

• Collaborate with our Product Engineering Capability to ensure client data platforms effectively support AI/ML and GenAI use cases.

• Ensure strong architectural alignment between data foundations and application-layer AI capabilities.

• Develop reusable patterns for feature engineering, ML-ready datasets, and data pipelines that support AI-driven use cases in client settings.

• Represent Presidio Digital publicly for Data & Analytics in client discussions, industry forums, and the broader market.

• Generate and promote thought leadership, POVs, and go-to-market strategies focused on modern data platforms and cloud-native architectures.

• Equip internal teams (Sales, Presales, Delivery) with playbooks, collateral, storytelling, and training.

• Collaborate with Sales and Presales to shape data-led transformation opportunities and support strategic initiatives.

• Define and package client-facing service offerings, such as data platform modernization and AI data foundations.

• Contribute to pipeline growth in key accounts via proactive opportunity identification and solution development.

• Create proposals, delivery models, and value propositions that are competitive and focused on client outcomes.

• Build and mentor a high-performing Data & Analytics team by hiring, developing, and retaining top talent across data engineering, data architecture, and analytics engineering.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, including military experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in Data & Analytics with progressive leadership roles, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior or Practice leadership position.

• Practical experience with pre-sales, solution shaping, and client-facing go-to-market initiatives.

• Proven capability to establish and scale delivery practices, including accelerators, offerings, standards, and talent development.

• Experience managing or leading teams of data engineers, architects, and analytics engineers.

• Demonstrated success in leading data platform modernization and analytics transformation engagements in a client-facing or consulting services capacity.

• Strong foundation in data engineering and modern data architectures, including lakehouse, medallion architecture, streaming, and domain-oriented design.

• Proficient in cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, AWS (Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation), or equivalents.

• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data lifecycle management.

• Familiarity with designing data systems that accommodate AI/ML workloads, including feature stores and ML-ready datasets.

• Awareness of AI/GenAI capabilities rooted in data enablement; collaboration with AI engineering teams is preferred.

• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior client stakeholders and internal leadership.

• Capacity to convert ambiguous business needs into structured, actionable data solutions.

• Track record of crafting go-to-market narratives, service offerings, and client-facing accelerators.

• Proven ability to navigate strategy, delivery, and commercial growth simultaneously.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex data and technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences; equally adept at presenting to C-suite executives and data engineering teams, and skilled in creating polished, insight-driven content and presentations that facilitate decision-making.

• Actively leverage AI tools and platforms to enhance work efficiency, from research and content creation to analysis and delivery preparation; models AI-first methodologies for the broader team.

• Experience in a technology consulting or professional services environment is highly preferred.
