This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Take charge of the financial performance of the service line, managing a budget exceeding $3 million with the objective of achieving 30 to 40 percent annual growth.
• Supervise monthly and annual reporting, encompassing revenue forecasting, utilization management, and margin optimization.
• Monitor delivery performance throughout the month and reconcile projects at both month-end and year-end.
• Propel pricing and resourcing strategies that harmonize innovation investment with disciplined commercial governance.
• Administer speculative budgets for new offerings, ensuring that progress is tracked and outcomes are assessed against expectations.
• Design, develop, and oversee the portfolio of Data & Innovation Strategy offerings to adapt to evolving market demands.
• Lead the development of new offerings that may be speculative or emerging, managing investment, delivery pilots, and refinement cycles.
• Promote repeatable, scalable, and ultimately productized delivery models to enhance efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate across Harbor’s service lines, including AI, Knowledge Transformation, and Technology-Enabled Solutions, to deliver integrated transformation initiatives.
• Manage high-impact client engagements, ensuring quality, consistency, and measurable value realization.
• Support client teams in the design and execution of transformation programs that integrate data, AI, knowledge, and innovation strategies.
• Partner with delivery leads to ensure projects align with the defined scope, budget, and desired business outcomes.
• Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional talent across strategy, data, and innovation fields.
• Established track record of owning and expanding a consulting P&L of at least $3 million annually, demonstrating success in driving 30 to 50 percent year-over-year growth through effective financial management, pricing, and utilization oversight.
• Experience in developing and scaling consulting offerings, including frameworks, delivery playbooks, and repeatable methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of how law firms and corporate legal departments function, and how data, KM, and AI transformation drive performance and innovation.
• Proven success in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing programs that integrate strategy, data, and emerging technologies.
• Strong leadership and talent-development capabilities, able to build, coach, and motivate a diverse team.
• Executive presence and communication skills, capable of advising and influencing senior leadership across legal, business, and technology domains.
• Market-facing experience through conferences, panels, or publications on topics relevant to legal technology, data, or innovation.
• Familiarity with cloud, AI, and analytics ecosystems adequate to engage in discussions with technical counterparts while remaining focused on business objectives.
