Senior Director, Corporate Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the executive leadership and business leaders to formulate the organizational strategy.

• Clearly communicate the strategy to foster growth in both core and adjacent markets.

• Plan, oversee, and manage the activities of managers and analysts who provide business intelligence and strategic planning support.

• Drive the analysis of intricate business challenges utilizing both internal and external data sources.

• Build senior-level relationships and partner with business leaders and functions on critical strategies and analyses.

• Create strategic and business plans for service lines and incorporate them into the overall strategic planning process.

• Develop and deliver business plans to senior executives.

• Provide data-driven strategic direction to business leaders.

• Identify, assess, and prioritize growth opportunities and new service offerings.

• Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving and spearhead the implementation of high-impact projects.

• Establish long-term strategic planning processes that include trend analysis, scenario development, and executive strategy off-site meetings.

• Create frameworks, processes, and tools to facilitate the implementation of market-level strategies.

• Assist in the prioritization and selection of new investment opportunities.

• Enhance organizational strategic capabilities by advising leaders and sharing best practices, tools, and frameworks.

• Prepare for and help facilitate strategy off-site sessions.

• Supervise subordinate or departmental managers and predominantly exempt staff.

• Travel is expected to be around 20%.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree; Advanced Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Manager or in a senior managerial capacity.

• MBA is preferred.

• Strong preference for candidates with healthcare industry experience.

• Management Consulting experience is highly desirable.

• Proven success in identifying opportunities that yield quantifiable and measurable business value in a mature market.

• Ability to uncover growth opportunities beyond initial appearances.

• Skilled in framing ambiguous problems or opportunities and pinpointing the most critical elements.

• Strong business acumen and intuition.

• Demonstrated ability to structure and lead projects with cross-functional teams while influencing without formal authority.

• Capable of communicating effectively with executives, exhibiting presence, passion, and credibility.

• Proven ability to effectively execute strategy from conception through to implementation.

• Approximately 20% travel is required.
