This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee and direct all stages of the deal lifecycle, from initial management discussions and the Letter of Intent (LOI) to definitive agreements and closing.
• Actively seek out and cultivate strategic partnerships with solar financiers, tax equity investors, and ESG-oriented private equity firms to enhance the company's presence in capital markets.
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis on the profitability and risk characteristics of various security types and fund structures.
• Work alongside product teams to guarantee that the company’s performance commitments align with the stringent risk-assessment criteria of Tier-1 banks and insurers.
• Develop detailed integration strategies for Finance, Operations, and G&A functions to facilitate seamless transitions.
• At least 10+ years of progressive experience in transaction-focused roles (Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Private Equity).
• Demonstrated success in leading, structuring, and finalizing multiple M&A transactions (preferably within the $25M - $200M enterprise value range) in the renewable energy, technology, SaaS, or FinTech sectors.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage external financial/legal advisors effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is required.
