Senior Director, Commercial Excellence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team, contributing to the formulation and implementation of commercial, operational, and organizational strategies and plans.

• Build a diverse and high-performing team within Commercial Excellence, integrating cross-functional efforts to ensure teams collaborate effectively with their peers.

• Create, activate, and enhance commercial capabilities to support excellence in the planning and execution of sales, marketing, market access, and other necessary functions.

• Conduct business planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring while providing reporting and management capabilities that empower leadership to manage the business effectively and meet its goals.

• Collaborate with Sales Leadership to ensure sales functions are equipped with the essential capabilities to meet business performance objectives, including CRM/Dashboard, Reporting, Forecasting, and Incentive Compensation.

• Establish a world-class Commercial Training and Employee Development function to guarantee a knowledgeable go-to-market sales and support team.

• Define and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes.

• Develop and provide training on supportive tools and templates, ensuring that teams have the necessary insights and data for informed decision-making.

• Lead the sales compensation team responsible for managing the sales incentive plan program, including the design of sales incentive plans, sales targets aligned with annual plans, participation rules, sales crediting, and payouts.

• Willingness to travel 25% or more may be required.

• Proficient in entering data into computers and departmental systems.

• Capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business documents and manuals.

• Strong ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers, employees, and external personnel.

• Proficient in English communication, both orally and in writing.

• Ability to identify, communicate, and help prevent potential challenges.
