Senior Director, Commercial Disputes and Investigations Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of multiple high-stakes commercial litigation and dispute engagements.

• Execute forensic accounting, provide expert testimony, conduct fraud investigations, and perform compliance work.

• Collaborate with Managing Directors and Principals to identify and deliver project support.

• Analyze financial and accounting records through forensic methods, including tracing funds and scrutinizing transactions for discrepancies or anomalies.

• Utilize financial and accounting expertise along with data analytical skills to address intricate questions.

• Gather and assess complex, large data sets.

• Interview relevant parties involved in disputes and investigations.

• Create and implement work plans to evaluate complex factual questions.

• Prepare and present reports, schedules, and visual aids to clients or other stakeholders.

• Act as a trusted advisor to legal teams, corporate leaders, and regulatory bodies.

• Cultivate and sustain client relationships and a professional network to generate revenue.

• Provide expert testimony in litigation and regulatory affairs as required.

• Mentor and guide a high-performing team of disputes and forensic experts.

• Draft engagement proposals and foster professional relationships through relevant events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience in consulting, disputes, investigations, forensic accounting, auditing, or related fields.

• Proven leadership in developing project work plans, strategies, and budgets.

• Proficient in managing and executing multiple workstreams efficiently.

• Experience in creating and applying innovative solutions to complex challenges.

• Background in guiding and mentoring staff.

• Proven ability to build robust client relationships and contribute to business development.

• At least 5 years of experience specifically in disputes and investigations.

• Expertise in supporting litigation and investigations for corporations, law firms, government entities, and fiduciaries.

• Proficiency in offering litigation support services, consulting, and expert testimony.

• Skillful in conducting financial and forensic investigations.

• Ability to effectively articulate findings in both courtroom and non-courtroom contexts.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

• Strong proficiency in database programs, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Above-average business writing and communication abilities.

• Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary, typically requiring less than 20% travel time.

• Candidates may reside anywhere within the contiguous United States.
