Senior Director – Cloud Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and implement the growth strategy for the Cloud Security division.

• Create a qualified pipeline that aligns with bookings, revenue, margin, and pull-through goals.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with Microsoft, Cognizant, key clients, and executive stakeholders.

• Facilitate executive discussions with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, and infrastructure leaders regarding cloud security strategy and transformation.

• Establish Cloud Security as a core capability that underpins enterprise cloud, AI, data, and application modernization efforts.

• Develop and enhance a suite of repeatable Cloud Security offerings, methodologies, accelerators, and reference architectures.

• Lead intricate solutioning initiatives, encompassing discovery, architecture, estimation, proposals, pricing, and executive presentations.

• Ensure that solutions are technically robust, commercially viable, appropriately governed, and aligned with client objectives.

• Interpret Microsoft roadmap investments, emerging technologies, and market trends into new services and growth opportunities.

• Provide executive oversight for strategic and high-risk projects.

• Set standards for architecture governance, delivery quality, security, resilience, compliance, and operational readiness.

• Collaborate with delivery leadership to guarantee that projects meet client objectives, financial targets, and contractual obligations.

• Capture reusable delivery assets, reference architectures, and client success stories to enhance future projects.

• Build, nurture, and lead a high-performing team of architects, consultants, engineers, and technical leaders.

• Define the organizational structure, competencies, career paths, and succession planning.

• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, technical excellence, and client-focused consulting.

• Collaborate across all 3Cloud service lines to provide integrated client solutions and eliminate siloed capabilities.

• Manage onshore, offshore, partner, and managed delivery capacity to enable scalable growth.

• Oversee pipeline, bookings, revenue, gross margin, utilization, and capability performance.

• Develop annual operating plans, investment priorities, hiring strategies, and capacity forecasts.

• Monitor business performance, market demand, offering profitability, and delivery health.

• Provide executive reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, consulting, systems integration, or related fields.

• More than 8 years in formal, progressive leadership roles within consulting, architecture, engineering, or professional services organizations.

• Proven success in building or scaling cloud security, infrastructure, or platform engineering capabilities.

• Extensive expertise in Microsoft Azure, cloud security, identity, networking, governance, automation, and platform operations.

• Experience in leading enterprise cloud transformation, migration, or modernization initiatives.

• Demonstrable success in developing and marketing consulting services while managing or influencing pipeline, bookings, and revenue.

• Strong executive communication and client advisory capabilities.

• Experience in leading multidisciplinary consulting teams within a matrix organization.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
