Senior Director, Business Development – French Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Conducts sales outreach to potential new clients to establish new business partnerships.

• Employs strategic approaches and executes tactics to secure prospective sponsors for contracts with Worldwide Clinical Trials.

• Manages responses to Requests for Proposals/Information.

• Achieves individual sales and revenue targets through proactive communication and sales efforts for Worldwide Clinical Trials' late phase services to designated clients.

• Identifies new contact leads for potential Phase II-IV Worldwide business opportunities.

• Develops and executes individualized, territorial, and key account strategies aimed at enhancing client base growth and retention.

• Organizes and participates in trade shows, including making exhibition arrangements, scheduling meetings, and coordinating hospitality suite logistics.

• Ensures seamless execution of trade show activities while adhering to budget constraints.

• Conducts teleconferences, client meetings, general capabilities meetings, and bid defense meetings with all key accounts in pursuit of new business opportunities.

• Actively involves senior management in significant business presentations and discussions related to strategic accounts and/or top opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or life sciences; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

• A minimum of ten (10) years of clinical sales experience within CRO industries.

• Preference for candidates with a background in Clinical Operations.

• Comprehensive knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies.

• Familiarity with the drug development process, preferably acquired in a CRO environment.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English and French.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and sales management software.

• Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned geographical area as well as nationally and internationally.
