This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Maintain a strong emphasis on achieving and surpassing bookings and revenue targets.
• Generate opportunities at the top of the funnel and oversee contract execution.
• Develop and implement an account-based prospecting strategy aimed at Discovery, Translational, and Clinical Development sectors.
• Collaborate closely with pharmaceutical partners to gain insights into their R&D goals.
• Establish and nurture profound relationships with R&D executives.
• Work in conjunction with Tempus field teams, laboratory scientists, and computational biologists to create innovative solutions.
• Lead the sales process comprehensively, from initial outbound prospecting to managing the closing plan.
• Over 7 years of experience in Business Development within the Life Sciences sector.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a biological field (such as Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, or Computational Biology).
• Strong comprehension of the drug development process, encompassing everything from target identification to clinical trials.
• Outstanding capability to convey intricate scientific matters and present technical expertise to both internal stakeholders and external executives.
