This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Lead, nurture, and retain a high-performing architecture team through effective hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development.
• Define role clarity, expectations, and growth trajectories for architects.
• Develop and refine current-state and target-state architectures that align with business strategies, regulatory requirements, and long-term sustainability.
• Create and uphold enterprise and domain reference architectures, standards, and guiding principles.
• Oversee architectural governance processes, including architecture reviews, decision records, and technology lifecycle management.
• Ensure that architectural components and standards are comprehensively documented, including value propositions, states, operational considerations, KPIs, and decision rationales.
• Empower delivery teams with reusable patterns, templates, guardrails, and architectural guidance.
• Provide architectural leadership across data architecture, data management, data security, data delivery, advanced analytics enablement, and alignment with business architecture.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, security, risk, and business stakeholders.
• Propel modernization initiatives to reduce technical debt, streamline integrations, and enhance resilience and scalability.
• Direct API-first and event-driven integration strategies.
• Advocate for security, privacy, and resiliency as foundational design principles.
• Facilitate cloud maturity through cost-conscious architectural decisions and platform enablement.
• Assess emerging technologies and transform successful proofs into scalable, governed capabilities.
• Plan and manage team capacity, prioritize tasks, and align investments.
• Proven experience in leading teams, including coaching, developing talent, setting expectations, and driving accountability for results.
• Extensive experience in enterprise, solution, or domain architecture within complex environments, preferably in regulated financial services.
• Capability to define target-state architecture and promote adoption through standards, governance, and roadmaps.
• Strong architectural breadth with expertise in data and integration concepts, including APIs and event-driven patterns.
• Understanding of security and resiliency as cross-cutting concerns.
• Experience in establishing and managing architectural governance, including tradeoff analysis and decision facilitation.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across engineering, product, infrastructure, security, and business domains.
• Proficient in translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes, risks, and value statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored for executive and senior stakeholder audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading architecture across multiple domains in a federated or matrixed operating model.
• Background in wealth management, retirement, or similarly regulated sectors.
• Hands-on experience in modernization or large-scale transformation projects.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture, cost optimization, or platform enablement models.
• Experience supporting AI or advanced analytics adoption with architectural guardrails.
• Relevant architecture, cloud, or security certifications are advantageous.
• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
