This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop creative, insightful, and essential content that provokes thought and drives high leverage.
• Formulate thought leadership and actionable strategies tailored to meet client requirements.
• Examine client challenges and needs to uncover root causes and shape strategic direction.
• Set Insights roles within a team of analysts.
• Provide independent insights to Gartner leaders, influencing research priorities.
• Investigate, assess, and forecast market trends and fluctuations.
• Counsel clients and potential clients through both virtual and in-person engagements.
• Create and present materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
• Assist BTI and Sales by acting as the market voice and enhancing client involvement.
• Perform timely and high-quality peer reviews of content.
• Establish credibility as an industry expert, representing Gartner's insights, methodologies, and strategies.
• Engage in innovation, ideation, and research conversations.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Insights community.
• Enhance research methodologies and create new service delivery processes.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Encourage clients to regularly interact with Gartner insights and resources.
• Advise Gartner clients on trends in application integration, the influence of AI on integration strategies, and MCP adoption.
• Provide guidance to clients on structuring integration teams.
• Counsel clients on the developing AI Gateway market and vendor selection.
• Propel Gartner's research in the Model Context Protocol (MCP) domain and assist clients in formulating MCP governance strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of pertinent field or industry experience.
• Graduate degree is preferred.
• Executive presence with the capability to establish credibility among executives and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
• Exceptional research and writing skills.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to analyze and synthesize data while applying relevant patterns and frameworks.
• Strong communication skills with the capacity to simplify complex concepts.
• Subject matter expertise and comfort in presenting at both large and small-scale events.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Extensive knowledge of the global competitive landscape within the relevant field.
• Capability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global environment.
• Learning agility with the ability to navigate highly matrixed settings.
• Effectively represent Gartner's research methodologies and strategies.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% when necessary.
• Expertise in application integration, AI gateways, agent gateways, LLM gateways, MCP gateways, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) governance.
