• Develop innovative, thought-provoking insights content that is essential and highly leveraged.
• Generate insights and concepts through thought leadership, offering compelling and actionable strategies to address client needs.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses to uncover root causes of client challenges and reframe perspectives to drive strategic initiatives.
• Define insights positions within a team of analysts.
• Provide independent insights to Gartner leaders and shape research agendas.
• Conduct research, analysis, and forecasting of market trends and shifts.
• Offer actionable recommendations to clients and prospects through virtual or in-person interactions.
• Create and present materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
• Assist sales efforts by representing market insights and enhancing client engagement.
• Deliver high-quality and timely peer reviews of content.
• Serve as an industry expert representing Gartner's insights, methodologies, and strategies.
• Engage in discussions related to innovation, ideation, and research.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Insights community and across various teams.
• Identify areas for improvement in research processes and develop new methodologies.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Facilitate regular client engagement with Gartner insights and interactions.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 12 years of relevant experience in the field or industry.
• Proven technology leadership in academia or advisory roles involving intricate research and academic institutions.
• Strong comprehension of current and emerging AI methodologies, innovative IT strategies, data management, architecture, and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated executive presence with the capacity to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines while producing high-quality outputs.
• Outstanding research and writing capabilities.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage clients and respond effectively to inquiries.
• Skilled in analyzing and synthesizing data, applying patterns and frameworks, and defending conclusions.
• Capable of explaining complex concepts clearly and simply.
• Subject matter expertise and comfort in presenting at both large and small speaking engagements.
• Strong business and financial understanding.
• Extensive knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the relevant subject area.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across multicultural global teams.
• Learning agility with the ability to navigate highly matrixed environments.
• Proficient in representing Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all organizational levels.
