This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop creative, insightful, and compelling content that delivers essential insights.
• Generate fresh insights and concepts through thought leadership initiatives.
• Conduct thorough analyses to uncover the underlying causes of a client's challenges or overall requirements.
• Exhibit thought leadership by establishing Insights positions among a team of analysts.
• Research, assess, and forecast market trends and changes.
• Offer clients and prospects actionable recommendations tailored to their specific content area.
• Create and present high-value materials both onstage and offstage for Gartner events.
• Build credibility as an industry expert to effectively represent Gartner insights.
• Actively engage in discussions regarding innovation, ideation, and research.
• Identify enhancements in research processes or develop new methodologies that aid the team and BTI in delivering exceptional service.
• Mentor and coach junior team members by providing support and guidance.
• Maintain a client-centric approach while consistently seeking to enhance client engagement with Gartner insights.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 12 years of relevant experience in the field or industry.
• Proven experience in leading strategic digital transformation initiatives in procurement.
• Extensive experience in sourcing and procurement technology implementation or administration.
• Strong familiarity with solutions from major technology providers such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, GEP, Jaggaer, and Ivalua is essential.
• Preferred experience in developing and executing an AI strategy for procurement.
• Required experience in piloting, implementing, or utilizing AI in procurement.
• Ability to articulate how procurement and sourcing technology contributes to business value.
• Experience in leading strategic transformation projects that prioritize digital enablement.
• Insight into which emerging technologies are most pertinent to procurement.
• Demonstrate executive presence and rapidly establish credibility with executives and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational abilities with a capacity to work under tight deadlines.
• Exhibit excellence in research and writing skills.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication, analytical and presentation skills; capable of engaging clients effectively.
• Skilled in analyzing and synthesizing data; adept at applying patterns and frameworks to draw conclusions.
• Strong communication abilities - able to succinctly explain complex concepts.
• Subject matter expertise with comfort in presenting at both large and small speaking events.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• In-depth knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area.
• Ability to work independently, with intrinsic motivation to collaborate across teams.
• Learning agile and proficient in navigating complex, matrixed environments.
• Capability to effectively represent Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all levels.
