Senior Director, Analyst – Cybersecurity Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a leading authority on cybersecurity strategies for Chief Information Officers (CIOs)

• Advise clients on best practices for safeguarding against cyber threats, data breaches, and new attack vectors

• Provide research and recommendations to CIOs regarding cybersecurity technologies and market trends

• Examine industry trends, threat intelligence, and technological disruptions to anticipate future risks

• Share cybersecurity research and thought leadership during discussions and events

• Assist clients in assessing and selecting cybersecurity vendors and solutions

• Work in collaboration with other Gartner Analysts to produce comprehensive research that addresses key cybersecurity priorities

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree

• Over 12 years of advancing experience in cybersecurity leadership positions

• Minimum of 3 years in a technology leadership role or a comparable combination of education and experience

• Demonstrated success in advising CIOs and C-suite executives on cybersecurity strategy and risk management

• Experience in vendor selection and technology evaluation for cybersecurity products

• Outstanding communication skills and writing expertise to develop a portfolio of published cybersecurity research

• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage

• Effective presenter capable of engaging audiences from individual executive briefings to large conferences

• Analytical thinker with the capacity to integrate technology, business, and threat trends

• Team-oriented collaborator
