This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Produce innovative, thought-provoking, and essential “must-have insights” content.
• Generate new insights and ideas through thought leadership, providing compelling and actionable strategies that enhance the client's ability to respond to their needs and requests.
• Conduct thorough analysis to uncover the root causes of a client’s challenges or overall requirements, reframing perspectives to advance strategic initiatives.
• Exhibit thought leadership by establishing Insight positions within a team of analysts.
• Offer independent, provocative insights to Gartner leaders that can influence the direction of a research agenda.
• Investigate, analyze, and forecast market trends and changes to deliver actionable insights to clients and vendors.
• Supply clients and prospects with actionable recommendations tailored to their specific content area through virtual or in-person engagements.
• Create and present high-value presentation materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, professional association meetings, and client briefings.
• Support BTI and Sales: Act as the voice of the market to assist Insights teams in content creation and to engage clients in addressing their critical priorities for business growth.
• Ensure high quality and timely peer review of content.
• Establish credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner insights, methodologies, and strategies.
• Actively engage in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, collaborating effectively with peers in the Insights community.
• Identify improvements in research processes or develop new methodologies that enhance service delivery for the team and BTI.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to foster their development.
• Maintain a client-centric approach while proactively encouraging clients to engage frequently with Gartner insights and interactions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 12 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven expertise in developing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with business objectives.
• Demonstrated experience in designing supply chain operating models and aligning them with enterprise and customer requirements.
• Understanding of AI capabilities and their influence on supply chain strategies and autonomous supply chain operations.
• Experience in creating and executing strategies focused on supply chain-driven commercial innovation and growth.
• Strong organizational abilities; capable of working under tight deadlines while delivering high-quality outputs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical and presentation capabilities; adept at engaging clients and effectively addressing their inquiries.
• Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data, capable of applying patterns and frameworks while drawing and justifying conclusions in relation to client challenges.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts effectively.
• Subject matter expert; comfortable presenting at both large and small-scale speaking events.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Deep understanding of the global competitive landscape within the subject area, as well as the dynamics within that market.
• Ability to work independently, while intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support others' workflows in a multicultural global environment.
• Quick learner, adept at navigating complex matrixed environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (where applicable).
