This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Develop compelling, innovative, and essential insights content that provokes thought.
• Generate fresh insights and ideas through thought leadership, providing actionable strategies that enhance the client's capability to respond effectively to their needs.
• Conduct thorough analyses to uncover the underlying causes of client challenges and reframe perspectives to advance strategic initiatives.
• Exhibit thought leadership by establishing insights positions within a team of analysts.
• Present independent and provocative insights to Gartner leaders that can influence the direction of research agendas.
• Research, analyze, and forecast market trends to deliver actionable insights to clients and vendors.
• Offer clients and prospects practical advice tailored to their specific content area through virtual or in-person interactions.
• Create and present high-quality presentation materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings, both on and off stage.
• Support BTI and Sales by acting as the market voice, assisting Insights teams in content creation, and engaging clients to address their critical business priorities.
• Ensure high-quality and timely peer review of content.
• Establish credibility as an industry expert representing Gartner’s insights, methodologies, and strategies.
• Actively engage in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, collaborating effectively with peers in the Insights community.
• Identify opportunities for research process enhancements or develop new processes to improve service delivery by the team and BTI.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their development.
• Maintain a client-centric approach, encouraging regular engagement between clients and Gartner insights.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 12 years of senior IT leadership experience in consumer packaged goods.
• Familiarity with the journey CIOs undertake to achieve MCPs.
• In-depth knowledge of Gartner content success metrics and the factors that drive ongoing engagement.
• Exhibit executive presence, establishing credibility with executives and other stakeholders immediately.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines while producing high-quality deliverables.
• Demonstrated excellence in research and writing abilities.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, with strong analytical and presentation skills; capable of engaging clients and addressing inquiries effectively.
• Skilled in analyzing and synthesizing data, effectively applying patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions related to client challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Subject matter expertise, comfortable presenting at both large and small-scale events.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the global competitive landscape in the subject area and its market dynamics.
• Ability to work independently while being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others in a multicultural global environment.
• Learning agility and adeptness in navigating complex, matrixed environments.
• Capability to effectively represent Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all organizational levels.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable).
