This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop creative, thought-provoking, and essential insights content that offers significant leverage.
• Generate fresh insights and concepts through thought leadership while providing compelling and actionable solutions to client needs.
• Assess client challenges and requirements, reframe perspectives, and advance strategic initiatives.
• Establish insights roles within a team of analysts.
• Deliver independent insights to Gartner leaders to influence research agendas.
• Conduct research, analysis, and forecasting of market trends and changes.
• Offer actionable guidance to clients and prospects through virtual meetings or in-person engagements.
• Create and present materials for Gartner events, conferences, and client briefings.
• Assist BTI and Sales by representing market insights and enhancing client engagement.
• Perform high-quality and timely content peer reviews.
• Act as an industry expert by representing Gartner's insights, methodology, and strategy.
• Engage in innovation, ideation, research discussions, and collaboration with colleagues.
• Identify enhancements in research processes and develop new methodologies.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Facilitate regular client engagement with Gartner insights and interactions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 12 years of relevant industry or field experience.
• Familiarity with and extensive knowledge of the internal audit leader or Chief Audit Executive position.
• Comprehensive understanding of the Audit function and related areas such as Compliance, Legal, and Risk.
• Significant experience in audit professional practices, including quality assurance, process improvement, staff training, and liaison with external auditors, regulators, and assurance providers.
• Executive presence with the ability to build credibility with executives and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to perform under tight deadlines.
• Excellent research and writing capabilities.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage clients and respond effectively to inquiries.
• Skilled in analyzing and synthesizing data, recognizing patterns, and applying frameworks.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Subject matter expertise and comfort in presenting at both large and small-scale events.
• Strong business and financial insight.
• In-depth knowledge of the global and competitive landscape in the relevant subject area.
• Capability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global setting.
• Learning agility and ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments.
• Ability to effectively represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies at all organizational levels.
• Willingness and capacity to travel up to 25%, as applicable.
• Preferred: experience in leading the development and execution of audit strategies.
• Preferred: experience in designing and updating audit methodologies, policies, and procedures or integrating new technologies into audit processes.
• Experience in the Financial Services and Banking industry is advantageous.
