This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Build and nurture robust relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure that client expectations are consistently met or surpassed at all levels through ongoing written and verbal communication with clients and account team members, while also addressing any problems or issues that may arise.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of client organizations, their products, relevant disease states, and marketing goals.
• Manage budgeting, financial oversight, and reconciliation for individual projects.
• Seek and secure new business within existing accounts by drafting proposals, creating new business presentations, and conducting regular on-site client meetings.
• Meet or exceed revenue targets for each account annually.
• Recruit, train, and establish personalized career development plans, provide continuous feedback, and conduct performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Inform senior management about account team activities, potential business opportunities, financial analyses, and forecasts.
• Delegate and oversee the workload of the account team.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify and manage both internal and external resources.
• Facilitate the resolution of conflicts within departments or among account team members.
• Participate in and/or lead team meetings.
• Comply with all AssistRx policies and procedures.
• **Direct Reports may include:**
• Senior Account Manager, Account Manager, Associate Account Manager
• A minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience, including management duties, interdisciplinary team involvement, and marketing and/or communications within a professional agency environment is essential.
• Management experience in a medical communications firm or healthcare advertising agency is preferred.
• Ability to quickly understand and retain scientific and technical concepts is required. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, the Internet, as well as strong presentation and business development skills are also necessary.
• **Education:**
• A bachelor’s degree is mandatory. An advanced degree is a plus, particularly in the healthcare field.
