This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.
⢠Oversee the implementation of Beyond Plasticsā comprehensive digital written and visual content across all channels.
⢠Design, manage, compose, and deploy key marketing email campaigns.
⢠Create and disseminate the monthly organizational newsletter, incorporating visual elements.
⢠Produce public education materials and establish a framework to support grassroots advocates.
⢠Update and maintain the Beyond Plasticsā website to showcase critical priorities and new content.
⢠Direct Beyond Plasticsā holistic digital outreach strategy (including email, SMS, and web) campaigns.
⢠Content creation will encompass written text, infographics, emails, newsletters, videos, and more.
⢠Enhance Beyond Plasticsā online donation process, emphasizing persuasive messaging and user navigation, while ensuring automated gift acknowledgements and processing.
⢠Oversee the organizational website and generate content aimed at boosting traffic, raising awareness, generating funds, and fostering grassroots actions, prioritizing user experience.
⢠Collaborate with the President and Development Director to ideate and plan quarterly webinars, ensuring registration uploads, emails, tagging, and other tasks to generate leads and facilitate follow-up.
⢠Manage the Action Network database, with assistance from the Program & Digital Assistant, to engage Beyond Plasticsā supporters, educate and mobilize grassroots communities, and coordinate advocacy initiatives.
⢠Act as the primary point of contact for database consultants.
⢠Lead digital analytics efforts across the website, emails, texts, and all digital fundraising campaigns, implementing tracking plans and measurement frameworks to report on engagement outcomes and activity impacts.
⢠Work in tandem with the Social Media Manager to ensure monthly consistency in social media statistics to inform future content development.
⢠A Bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in digital advocacy and fundraising.
⢠Demonstrated experience as a strategic leader in digital programming, with a profound understanding of digital tools, cross-channel marketing, and the ability to create scalable data tracking and reporting systems.
⢠A strong grasp of and the ability to articulate Beyond Plasticsā messaging related to environmental justice, climate change, plastics pollution, and public health through written content.
⢠Proficiency in navigating various digital systems, including email and SMS platforms, website development and hosting platforms, digital organizing tools, social media, and basic design applications.
⢠Background in non-profit advocacy, issue-based campaigns, and community mobilization.
⢠A dedication to environmental advocacy and the mission of Beyond Plastics, with an understanding of the interconnections among climate, economic, and racial justice, and the ability to communicate fluently about these intersections.
⢠A strong passion for storytelling, especially regarding issues related to human health and the health of our planet, as well as the influence of grassroots activism.
⢠Highly proficient in Google Workspace, Action Network, Canva, Civic Shout, Squarespace (or WordPress), and Social Media platforms.
⢠Skills in video editing and graphic design using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools.
⢠Exceptional written communication abilities.
⢠Capable of managing projects within tight deadlines.
⢠Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a motivated team.
