Head of Strategic Initiatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead the execution of the CFO's portfolio of strategic initiatives.

• Convert strategic goals into executable workplans, milestones, and accountability frameworks.

• Develop and uphold governance processes for initiatives.

• Track progress and proactively pinpoint execution risks and interdependencies.

• Raise issues and provide recommendations to executive leadership when necessary.

• Ensure alignment among stakeholders and involved teams.

• Oversee operational rhythms for strategic initiatives.

• Organize executive working sessions and decision-making forums.

• Create executive updates, dashboards, and reporting documents.

• Ensure that action items are recorded and completed.

• Foster organizational accountability and a culture of execution discipline.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic finance, corporate development, or program management.

• Proven track record of managing complex cross-functional initiatives successfully.

• Excellent skills in executive communication and stakeholder management.

• Ability to influence others without direct authority.

• Experience in crafting executive-level presentations and analyses.

• Outstanding organizational and project management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
