This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• You will serve as the primary client liaison, responsible for conveying your vision for the digital program in its entirety, delivering results, and keeping the client informed about our progress.
• You will receive regular support due to the nature of these clients, but the initiative and execution will be yours.
• The role requires you to lead the work autonomously.
• Collaborate with the digital advertising team to strategically develop and implement large-scale direct response marketing initiatives.
• Schedule and manage email and SMS campaigns aimed at mobilizing supporters, often focusing on small-dollar online fundraising.
• You will primarily write the content, although production assistance will be available in this position.
• Generate fundraising forecasts for your clients and provide regular updates to monitor progress towards goals.
• Oversee email deliverability and ensure adherence to proper list hygiene protocols.
• Assist clients with additional fundraising requirements as needed, which may include managing digital bundling or partner fundraising initiatives.
• Some responsibilities may include managing client stores and websites, which could involve coordinating with external vendors or developers for project management.
• In this position, you are expected to mentor junior staff, guiding them on their tasks related to your accounts and providing training to enhance their skills.
• There may be opportunities for business development, particularly if it pertains to one of your clients.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends when necessary, especially around elections, fundraising deadlines, and significant events for your clients.
• Additional duties as required.
• You have experience managing large-scale email campaigns and likely have raised several million dollars.
• You possess the ability to plan, write, schedule, execute tests, and handle some production tasks when needed.
• Familiarity with ActionKit and/or NGP is strongly preferred.
• Experience with broadcast or peer-to-peer texting initiatives focusing on fundraising is required.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale direct response advertising programs with significant budgets.
• Your instinct is to capitalize on opportunities to spend at scale.
• Proficiency in paid digital persuasion campaigns is a plus, but basic literacy is acceptable.
• Experience running social media campaigns is advantageous.
• Knowledge of managing integrations between digital and field operations is also a plus.
• Prior experience as a client lead, either as an in-house digital director reporting to superiors on a campaign or within an organization or agency, is essential.
