Senior Digital Strategist, Account Director

📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of client relationships, acting as the main point of contact and strategic advisor for senior stakeholders.

• Establish deep, enduring trust with clients by comprehending their objectives, challenges, and organizational dynamics — consistently presenting yourself as a dependable partner.

• Function as a trusted digital consultant to senior stakeholders, merging overarching vision with practical, results-oriented recommendations.

• Steer clients toward confident decision-making, particularly when the way forward is ambiguous or complicated.

• Serve as both a visual and verbal storyteller — conveying insights with clarity, empathy, and strategic depth.

• Contribute to new business initiatives by leading pitch narratives, proposals, and strategic frameworks, while fostering rapport with prospective clients during presentations.

• Convert research — both your own and that provided by interdisciplinary teams — into clear, actionable strategic deliverables, including digital strategy suggestions, roadmaps, personas, user journeys, value propositions, information architecture, and user experience guidance.

• Oversee discovery activities — including stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, and opportunity assessments — and collaborate with researchers and strategists to ensure findings translate into a clear strategic direction.

• Formulate strategies for websites, digital products, and experiences that harmonize customer needs with business objectives and technological capabilities.

• Create impactful presentations and strategic deliverables that inspire clients and provide cross-functional teams with clear direction.

• Collaborate closely with designers, creatives, technologists, content strategists, and analysts to develop cohesive, integrated digital strategies.

• Navigate teams through uncertainty by establishing direction, clarifying decisions, and maintaining momentum, even when details are still evolving.

• Stay ahead of emerging trends — particularly in AI, digital transformation, and experience strategy — while providing insights that enhance our work.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in digital strategy, client services, account management, consulting, or a related field; experience in a digital agency is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to cultivate and maintain senior client relationships in a services or consulting setting.

• Strong knowledge of websites, UX design, information architecture, and product strategy.

• Familiarity with AI and emerging tools, along with the capability to discuss their significance in digital strategy credibly.

• Excellent strategic thinking combined with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding storytelling, presentation, and communication skills (both visual and verbal).

• Proficient in synthesizing research and insights into actionable strategic guidance.

• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

• Relationship-oriented — you prioritize investing in people, not merely projects.

• Naturally inquisitive and energized by problem-solving.

• Collaborative and human-centered in your approach to addressing challenges.

• Composed under pressure and adept at unifying teams.

• Grounded, values-driven, and capable of quickly building trust.

• Nice to Have: Experience in developing brand positioning, value propositions, or messaging frameworks.

• Nice to Have: Experience in facilitating workshops for brand, messaging, or creative development.

• Nice to Have: Experience in managing or mentoring junior strategists or account team members.
