This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee the creation, validation, and translation of business and system requirements into effective digital solutions.
• Direct the configuration, implementation, and enhancement of PMIS systems for a significant PMO, concentrating on cost, risk, schedule, and portfolio management tools.
• Formulate system configuration strategies, technical documentation, and implementation plans that align with program goals.
• Influence the client's operational practices to ensure alignment between processes, system capabilities, and data models.
• Advocate for best practices in digital systems configuration and integration across major capital projects.
• Gather and analyze client requirements to craft digital strategies, data frameworks, and analytical methodologies aligned with business objectives.
• Assist in the integration of project, cost, schedule, and asset data within the PMO, producing a series of reports.
• Create and implement dashboard and reporting solutions (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to facilitate insight-driven decision-making.
• Offer technical training, coaching, and user adoption assistance to client teams.
• Contribute to high-quality documentation, presentations, and communications with stakeholders.
• Provide technical insights for business development, bid submissions, and securing new work.
• Support the ongoing enhancement of digital, data, and analytical capabilities across the organization.
• Serve as an ambassador for digital services, promoting value-driven digitization and innovation.
• Stay actively involved with emerging industry trends and technologies, incorporating new learnings into project delivery.
• In-depth understanding of digital systems and data-driven delivery within capital projects and asset management.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering client-oriented digital or data-enabled transformations, from initial engagement through to implementation.
• Ability to effectively connect digital solutions to client value, including aspects such as cost, efficiency, assurance, and performance results.
• Strong grasp of PMO / PMIS tools, methodologies, and governance frameworks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, proficient in articulating complex technical concepts clearly.
• High emotional intelligence, with the confidence to constructively challenge and drive change.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field (or equivalent qualification).
• Chartered status or equivalent professional certification from a recognized institution or body.
