This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of Flagstar's digital measurement strategy and governance across web, mobile applications, and digital marketing channels.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs), event taxonomy, reporting standards, tagging standards, naming conventions, and specifications for data layers.
• Establish requirements for instrumentation of new digital experiences, features, and campaigns.
• Oversee tag management, both client-side and server-side data collection infrastructure, ensuring data quality assurance.
• Manage the shift to first-party data collection, server-side tagging, consent mode, and modeled conversion strategies.
• Administer and govern tools such as Adobe Analytics, GA4, Adobe Experience Platform, Google Marketing Platform, and related technologies.
• Manage relationships with digital analytics and tag management vendors.
• Assess enhancements to the analytics technology stack, including customer data platforms (CDP), identity resolution, and AI-assisted analytics tools.
• Maintain platform health, access governance, data feeds, processing rules, and downstream integrations with platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Create dashboards and reporting views utilizing Power BI or Tableau.
• Convert digital data into actionable insights regarding friction points, drop-offs, engagement, and campaign performance.
• Support A/B and multivariate testing through measurement plans, instrumentation requirements, and analysis of results.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert in digital analytics for stakeholders in marketing, digital experience, product, and technology.
• Develop training materials, documentation, and user guides for analytics self-service.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Privacy teams on CCPA, GLBA, and state privacy requirements.
• Contribute expertise in digital measurement to cross-channel analytics and infrastructure projects.
• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, standards, and mandatory training.
• Bachelor's Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required.
• 8+ years of practical experience in digital analytics, marketing analytics, or digital measurement.
• Direct responsibility for analytics instrumentation and reporting in a complex, multi-channel digital ecosystem.
• Experience managing a tag management environment, including client-side and server-side implementations, data layer governance, and quality assurance processes.
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Analytics and/or GA4, including platform administration, implementation architecture, and reporting configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Launch (Adobe Tags) and/or Google Tag Manager, including server-side container setup.
• Familiarity with consent management platforms, server-side tagging, consent mode, and modeled data strategies.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying, audience construction, and pipeline validation.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports in Power BI, Dynamics, or Tableau.
• Capability to collaborate with web and mobile app development teams as a technical analytics resource.
• Knowledge of paid digital media measurement across search, social, programmatic, and affiliate tracking frameworks.
• Ability to manage analytics platforms, assess technology enhancements, and uphold data governance.
• Skill in translating measurement requirements into technical specifications and validating implementations.
• Understanding of CCPA, GLBA, and emerging state privacy legislation.
• Preferred: advanced degree in a related field.
• Preferred: experience with Adobe Experience Platform, Customer Journey Analytics, CDP, cross-channel analytics, Snowflake, BigQuery, Python, R, AI-assisted analytics, modeled conversion, Google Analytics certification, Adobe Analytics certification, and experience in regulated industries.
