Senior DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as a technical leader at the confluence of development, security, and operations within our cloud team.

• Guarantee that all cloud services, networks, and data pipelines maintain security and comply with industry regulations.

• Collaborate closely with the development team to foster a “Shift Left” culture by automating compliance and security scanning throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure that is secure by default to manage data transmitted from IoT devices.

• Create secure methods for data storage and processing, incorporating encryption and secure authentication frameworks.

• Facilitate the provisioning of secure cloud infrastructure through the creation of infrastructure as code (IaC) modules.

• Ensure that all data sent from IoT devices to the industrial cloud is encrypted and managed securely.

• Apply network-level security measures.

• Supervise the integration of various cloud services to ensure secure data ingestion, storage, and processing.

• Confirm that the industrial cloud infrastructure meets security standards such as ISO 27001.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in cloud security, specifically focused on securing cloud infrastructure for data processing and storage.

• In-depth understanding of cloud security, identity management, secure communication protocols (such as TLS), and data encryption techniques.

• Demonstrated experience with public cloud platforms (like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to secure cloud environments and services.

• Familiarity with SAST/DAST tools, container security, and vulnerability management.

• Knowledge of ISO 27001 compliance standards for cloud environments.

• Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally using Terraform.

• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GCSA, or other cloud-specific security or automation certifications are highly sought after.
