Senior DevSecOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and enhance various aspects of the cloud security environment in AWS and GCP.

• Integrate security protocols within CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code utilizing Terraform.

• Propel security automation across different environments, minimizing manual tasks and reducing operational risks.

• Serve as a security advocate, encouraging engineers to embrace secure-by-default methodologies.

• Work collaboratively with development, SRE, and infrastructure teams to enhance security remediation and incident management processes.

• Assist in incident response operations, implement post-incident enhancements, and ensure operational readiness.

• Participate in the development of security tools, standards, documentation, and ongoing improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in cloud security, particularly with AWS (experience with GCP is advantageous or a willingness to learn is expected).

• In-depth understanding of DevSecOps and the integration of security within engineering workflows.

• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code methodologies.

• Proficient in Linux/Unix systems.

• Programming skills in Go and/or Python.

• Capability to work autonomously with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Ability to think comprehensively and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.

• Advanced English proficiency (interaction with global stakeholders is required). Willingness to travel to São Carlos, SP when necessary.
