Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer, GCP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You possess experience with cloud-native technologies and implement modern software utilizing GitOps principles.

• You are motivated to not only automate infrastructure but also to create your own tools and operators in Go.

⛳️ Requirements

• You are skilled in building a Docker image and converting it into a Kubernetes deployment.

• You define infrastructure as code rather than assembling it through the UI.

• You are familiar with tools such as Terraform or Helm.

• You have a strong understanding of Go or the ability to quickly learn it for developing Kubernetes operators, custom CLIs, or infrastructure tools.

• You possess robust shell scripting skills (Bash).

• You are knowledgeable about the software development lifecycle and are capable of setting up, operating, and enhancing common CI/CD processes.

• You have experience with GCP and can manage it using Terraform.

• You can establish Kubernetes clusters and manage them with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux.

• You have experience troubleshooting network issues in distributed systems.

• You are communicative, a team player, and enjoy collaborating closely with clients and teams.

• You have very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English skills (B2).
